In 1979, founder and President Chris Swezey started CJ's on a very limited budget, but a desire to be the best and give his customers unmatched service. While completing degrees at PVTI and obtaining his Master's Gardner certificate through the University of Florida's IFAS program, Chris worked hard to build the business and build a reputation as a reputable, quality conscious business. Chris met his wife, Tina, shortly after the business started, and they worked many projects together while raising three wonderful children. The kids are all currently in college and scattered around the country from Florida State to the University of Kentucky.
